Pick the right report
- A bug or something broken: a ticket under "Something is broken". Include what you were doing, the device and browser, and a screenshot if you have one. Start with the troubleshooting articles, as a reload fixes a surprising number of one-off problems.
- A wrong score or a miscount: a ticket under "Rules & scoring", then "A score or total looks wrong". Give your display name, the mode and roughly when it happened.
- Abuse, cheating or an offensive display name: a ticket under "Safety, abuse & cheating". Tell us the display name, the table code if you have it, and what happened.
- A security vulnerability: report it privately first, before telling anyone else. See nertz.app/security for what we ask of you.
- A scam or a fake Nertz message: a ticket under "Safety, abuse & cheating", then "A suspicious message claiming to be Nertz".
- Accessibility barriers: a ticket under "Accessibility". These are read as product work, not as support noise.
Before you report
- 1Reload the page once. A stale tab causes most one-off problems.
- 2Check nertz.app/status to see whether we already know about it.
- 3Try the search box in the help centre with a word or two about what you saw.
- 4Note roughly what time it happened, and your display name, while you still remember.
What happens after you report
- You get a reference number straight away, and a copy by email when we are able to reach your address.
- We read every report. We do not quote response times, and we would rather fix the game than promise a clock.
- If we need more detail we reply in the same ticket, and the ticket shows "Waiting on you" until you answer.
- For reports about another player, we confirm that we received and acted on it. We do not share what we did about somebody else's account, because privacy applies to them as well.
Keep it usable
- Report a real problem you actually met in a game. False reports slow the queue down for everybody.
- One report per issue is plenty. Add to the thread rather than opening a new ticket.
- Never send passwords, sign-in codes or payment details. We will never ask for them.
