There is no sound in the game

Troubleshooting 1 min readLast updated October 3, 2026

Work through the six usual causes of silence, from the browser holding sound until the first tap to a muted tab.

Work through these

  1. 1Tap or click the table once. Mobile browsers and some desktop browsers hold sound until the first interaction on the page.
  2. 2Check the speaker button in the top bar of the table. If it shows a crossed out speaker, tap it to unmute.
  3. 3Check the tab. A muted tab shows a small speaker icon on the tab itself, and this is separate from the game's own setting.
  4. 4Check the device volume, and on an iPhone the side switch that mutes the ringer.
  5. 5Disconnect Bluetooth headphones or speakers that may be holding the audio, then reload.
  6. 6Close other tabs or apps that play audio. Some of them keep exclusive use of the sound channel.
  7. 7Try a different browser to confirm whether it is the browser or the device.

How sound works here

  • Sound effects play as cards move and at the end of a round. There is no music.
  • Your mute setting is remembered per device and browser, so if a game is silent tomorrow, that setting is the first thing to check.
  • Silence never affects play. Scores, timings and the round are identical with sound on or off.

Common problems

Common problems

It worked yesterday and is silent today.

The game remembered the muted setting from your last session. Tap the speaker button in the top bar.

I get sound in other apps but not this one.

That points at the browser tab rather than the device. Check the tab's mute icon and any site level sound permission in the browser settings.

Only some sounds play.

Card sounds are short by design. Open a ticket if a specific moment is silent, and tell us which one.
