Join a table with a code or an invite link
Two ways to sit down at a live Nertz table: open the invite link, or type the table code and your name on the home screen.
If you were sent an invite link
The code is already filled in for you, so there is nothing to copy.
- 1Open the link. It looks like nertz.app/?room=CODE and opens the game on the join screen.
- 2Type the name you want the table to show.
- 3Tap Join.
If you were given a code
- 1Open nertz.app.
- 2Tap "Family & friends".
- 3Type the code in the CODE box. It is not case sensitive.
- 4Type your name in the name box.
- 5Tap Join. You are seated in the lobby until the host deals.
While you wait
- The lobby shows everybody who is seated and who is hosting.
- You can play as a guest, with no account. Signed-in players get their scores saved and can be invited again later.
- If a round is already running, you are seated and play from the next round.

The code is refused.
Check for the characters that look alike: 0 and O, 1 and I, 5 and S. Codes are letters and numbers with no spaces. If the table was closed by the host, or nobody is left at it, ask for a fresh code.
The link opens the home screen instead of the table.
The link was probably cut short by the app you opened it from. Ask for the table code and type it in by hand.
My name is already taken at the table.
Two players can share a name, but it gets confusing. Add a letter to yours so the scores are easy to read.
