Access, correct, export or delete your data

How to use your privacy rights: download a copy of your data yourself, fix something that is wrong, export your scores, or delete your account.

Before you start

  • You can make any of these requests from the help centre, or by emailing support@nertz.app and the operator address in our Privacy Policy.
  • We may need to check the request comes from the account owner before we act on it.

Make the request

  1. 1Open a ticket from the help centre under "Privacy & data".
  2. 2Choose what you want: a copy of your data, a correction, an export, or deletion.
  3. 3Sign in first if you can. It proves the request comes from the account and speeds everything up.
  4. 4Tell us what you want changed or removed, and whether you want your leaderboard history included.
  5. 5Keep the reference number we show you and reply in the same ticket if you need to add anything.

What you can take yourself

  1. 1Open Settings from the game menu and tap "Download my data".
  2. 2The file downloads straight away: your account, scores, round history, support tickets and stored helper chats, as JSON that any tool can read.
  3. 3Game emails have their own switch right there, and every game email also has an unsubscribe link that works without signing in.
  4. 4Deleting the account is there too, under "Delete my account and data", and it is immediate.

Good to know

Nothing else has to be asked for: these three are yours to use at any time, without waiting for us.

What you can ask us for

  • Access: a description of what we hold about you, and a copy.
  • Correction: fixing a name, display name or other detail that is wrong.
  • Deletion: removing your account and the records attached to it. See "Delete your account or ask for your data" for exactly what goes.
  • Portability: the same export described above, if you would rather we sent it to you. We answer within one month.
  • Restriction or objection: asking us to pause, or to stop a particular use, such as the leaderboard.
  • Complaining: telling us we got something wrong, or taking it to your data protection authority, without coming to us first.

Good to know

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

What happens next

  • We reply in the same ticket thread, so everything about your request stays in one place.
  • We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
  • If we cannot do what you asked, we tell you why and you can ask us to reconsider by replying in the ticket.

Staying safe

Never send a password, a sign-up code or card details in a ticket. We will never ask for them. If somebody claiming to be Nertz does ask, it is not us.
