Create an account and sign in
How to register with email and password or with Google, what an account gives you, and how to change the name attached to it.
Before you start
- You must be 13 or older to create an account. Younger players are welcome to join a family member's table as a guest.
- Have the email address you want to use ready. A short sign-up code is sent to it.
What an account gives you
- Every round you finish is saved: your profile, the leaderboard, round history and progress chart.
- The Coach can look at your real results and give you advice based on them.
- You can receive table invites and the weekly winners email, and see them in the notification bell.
- You can open and track support tickets from the help centre and reply to us in one thread.
Good to know
You never need an account to play. Solo games and online tables both work signed out.
Sign up with email
- 1Open nertz.app and tap the sign-in link, or go to nertz.app/register.
- 2Type your email address and a password, then type the password again to confirm.
- 3Tap Create account. A short sign-up code is emailed to you.
- 4Type the code on the verification screen. You are signed in straight away.
Tip
Codes often land in the spam or promotions folder the first time. See "I did not get my sign-up code" if it does not arrive.
Sign up with Google
We receive only your basic Google profile: name, email address and picture. We never see your Google password and we do not ask for access to Gmail, Drive or contacts.
- 1On the sign-in or register screen, tap the Google button.
- 2Choose the Google account you want to use and approve the request.
- 3You come back to Nertz! signed in, with your profile name taken from Google.
Change your name or email
The name shown on the leaderboard and at the table is the display name you type before a game, and it can be anything you like. Your account name and email address are managed by us: open a ticket from the help centre with the change you want. Sign in first so we can see the account, and never send a password in a ticket.

Common problems
It says my email is already registered.
You already have an account. Use the sign-in screen instead, or reset your password if you cannot remember it.
The Google button does nothing.
Check that pop-ups and third party cookies are allowed for nertz.app, then try again. If you are in an in-app browser (from a social app), open the game in Safari, Chrome or Edge instead.
I want to use a different Google account.
Sign out of Nertz!, sign out of Google in that browser, then sign in with the account you want. Your scores follow the account you sign in with.
